Where it works
MathPal captures whatever is on the tab you're looking at — so it doesn't care whether the problem is text, an image, or a scan someone photographed badly.
3 steps
From the page you already have open to genuine understanding — in seconds.
Click the MathPal icon, then drag a selection over the problem — on a website, a PDF, a scanned worksheet. No retyping, no upload.
Works on any tabThe selection goes to MathPal's AI, which reads the problem and writes out the full solution — streamed into the side panel as it's generated.
Answer in ~10 secondsThe solution stays in the side panel next to the page you're on, with math properly typeset. Saved to your history if you're signed in.

Click any problem on the worksheet — that's the same gesture as dragging a box around it.

Problem summary
An has 24 candies. She shares them equally among 6 friends. How many does each get?
Step-by-step
Conclusion
Dividing 24 candies into 6 equal groups gives 4 per group.
What comes back
Every solve returns the same four parts, in the same order — so you can check the AI read the right problem before you trust a single step.
MathPal restates what it actually read from your screen, verbatim, before solving anything. If it misread the question, you spot it immediately.
Full reasoning written out — and if the problem has parts (1), (2), (3), each part gets its own worked section instead of one merged blur.
A short conclusion summarising each part, then the final answer on its own — in the language you picked, even when the problem on screen is in another one.
Choose your plan
Plans are measured in energy — a shared budget every solve draws from, so a hard problem costs more than an easy one. It tops back up every Monday. Pay monthly, cancel anytime, no API key needed.

Questions
Yes, to try. You get a free solve without creating an account at all — install, select a problem, read the solution. After that you'll need a plan for regular use, because every solve costs us an AI call.
Not to try it. Sign in when you want your solves saved to history and synced with the web and iOS apps, or when you're on a paid plan.
No. Every solve returns your problem restated word for word, the full worked steps (each part separately if the problem has parts), a short conclusion, and then the final answer. The restatement matters: it's how you check the AI read the right thing before trusting the rest.
21, picked in the side panel — English, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and more. The problem on screen can be in a different language than the explanation you get back.
The selected area is sent to our server, which passes it to the AI model that reads and solves it. If you're signed in, the image is stored with that solve so it can appear in your history. Nothing is processed on your device.
It works on any page Chrome can display, including PDFs. It cannot capture Chrome's own pages (settings, the Web Store, the new-tab page). It's built for understanding your homework — please don't use it where your school doesn't allow it.
The web app and iOS app go further: upload a photo instead of selecting on screen, and get the learning modes the extension doesn't have — Concept, Formula, Practice, Q&A and Advisory — plus your knowledge radar. Same account, same history.
Install in one click and solve your next problem without leaving the page you're on. Free to start — upgrade whenever you need more.
